Gretchen Y. Brautigan

Gretchen Y. Brautigan, 49 of Toledo, OH, died Thursday, April 27, 2017, in her home.  Born March 9, 1968, in Toledo, OH, she was the daughter of Carl E. and Rose M. (Kraft) Streicher, II.  A 1986 graduate of Whitmer High School, she married Christopher A. Brautigan on August 28, 1998.  Gretchen was a freelance artist,  enjoyed gardening,  but most of all spending time with her family.  She was a friend to everyone that she met and would do anything for anyone.

She is survived by her loving husband, Christopher; children, Madison (Jordan) Gonzales and Max Brautigan; grandson, Kazley; parents, Carl E. and Rose M. Streicher, II; brother, Carl E. (Amy) Streicher, III and grandmother, Dorothy Kraft.

Visitation will be from 2-7 pm, Thursday, May 4, 2017, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where a memorial service will follow at 7:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers, it was Gretchen’s wish that donations be made to Max’s college fund. www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
